- Dining with Diabetes is a signature program conducted by Ohio State University Extension. This program helps individuals learn strategies to manage their diabetes through menu planning, carbohydrate counting, portion control, label reading, and test tasting healthy recipes.

- The ServSafe program is developed by the National Restaurant Association and is the industry standard for food-safety training and is accepted in almost all United States jurisdictions that require employee certification. ServSafe training programs provide accurate, up-to-date information for all levels of employees on handling of food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving.

- The Family and Consumer Sciences Department in Wood County strives to build strong families through educational programming. Programs focus on the following issues: * Improvement in nutrition and lifestyle choices from infancy through retirement; * Manage time, money and other resources; * Address community health and environmental concerns; * Manage the multiple roles of work and family life; * Build strong families though relationship skills, conflict management skills, and shared values.
