Brenda joined the Ohio State University Extension, Ottawa County team in December of 2017 as the SNAP-Ed Program Assistant.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Toledo.  She has taught locally in both parochial and public schools and for several non-profit agencies in Lucas county.  She looks forward to partnering with area agencies to teach about healthy eating and having an active lifestyle.

Brenda and her husband, Jim, live on Catawba Island, Ohio where they enjoy boating on Lake Erie.  They have two children, Kristen and Eric.  She enjoys reading, cooking and traveling.
